Thanks for visiting my web-site. I'm a contemporary mixed media and encaustic artist with a home and studio both in mid-coast Maine (Tenants Harbor) and on Munjoy Hill in Portland.
My medium of choice is encaustic wax but I enjoy printmaking/silkscreen, watercolor monotypes and 3-D sculptural art using fiber-clay, wood and metal.
Over the past 30 years, my time and talents have been invested in art. I have been selling my work in and around Maine for years plus giving workshops in encaustic painting and participating in them also. There is always something new to learn.
My art has been shown at various galleries and venues from Portland, Maine to Seattle Washington, including Maine College of Art in Portland, The Center For Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport, Mars Hall Gallery in Port Clyde, Maine and most recently in New York City at the National Association of Women Artist's gallery on Fifth Avenue.
"I think good art is a successful attempt at capturing some of the spirit, design and perfection that is all around us."
